Intumescent Rubber Smoke Seals

Intumescent fire door seals fit into a rebate on the fire door or frame. They expand to many times the original size and fill the gaps around the door with a flame-tight seal for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on width.

The key points for passive fire protection products are :- 

1.Prevent the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases through a building by containing it in the 2.compartment of origin. 

3.Maintain the integrity of escape routes from a building.  

4.Reduce loss or damage to property from the effect of fire and smoke.

These Intumescent Smoke seals expand many times in contact with fire sealing the gap between frame and door preventing Flames, Smoke and fumes when corretly positioned between the door leaf or door frame.
